APPOINTMENT
Highly selective herbicide for controlling annual dicotyledonous weeds and some grass weeds on sugar beet crops.
PRINCIPLE OF ACTION
It has a contact and soil effect, is absorbed by the sprouts of monocotyledons during germination and is absorbed by the roots of dicotyledons upon contact with an aqueous solution of etofumesate in the soil. It is poorly absorbed by leaves when a mature cuticle has formed. Etofumezat suppresses meristem growth and cell division, limits the formation of waxy cuticle in weeds.
APPLICATION FEATURES
For extended control of the spectrum of weeds, it is advisable to use in tank mixtures with preparations:
Goal (metamitron, 700 g/l);
Shtefam Novy (phenmedifam, 160 g/l + desmedifam, 160 g/l);
Stefodim (clethodim, 240 g/l);
Steftrel (clopyralid, 300 g/l).
Optimum efficiency when applying more than 0.5 kg/ha of the active substance, when accumulating more than 0.9 kg/ha - for soil action. It fully reveals its capabilities (ground effect) under the condition of sufficient moisture. High nutrient content and drought reduce performance.
Compatible with drugs manufactured by DDE Pharm AG. When using with drugs from other manufacturers, it is necessary to conduct a preliminary check on the compatibility of the components and the phytotoxicity of the mixture.
APPLICATION REGULATIONS
The best herbicidal effect is provided when the drug is used in conditions of sufficient soil moisture.
The drug cannot be used on hot days with strong solar radiation or when there is a danger of night frosts, as well as in crops of sick or weakened plants, as damage to beets is possible! It is recommended to carry out spraying at temperatures from +8 to +25 ºС using ground equipment in the morning (before 10) and evening (after 18) hours with minimum air flows. The air speed during fine-droplet spraying should not exceed 3 m/s, with large-droplet spraying - 4 m/s.
